captcha code correct but reloads

Hello

Spend a few hours getting the GD library to work but problem I now I have is that each time
I use contact form the captcha code just reloads upon form submission and nothing happens.

Do I need to use Jquery to get it to work? Since I dont use it maybe its causing problems???

Ideas where the fault may be?
