You need just to configure the ssl on your server and edit .htaccess file wink

Also, you need to add https in the site url field in the System Setting page

I like to use a protocol agnostic url in the 'System' -> 'Settings' -> 'System Settings' -> 'Site Url' box, like this:

//www.domain.com

Then you can connect with or without SSL. 

https://www.domain.com

will always require SSL
